Received a parcel with a pair of trainers - not my order

Hi there, if anyone can help.  I have received this morning a pair of bright trainers.  These are not mine and

perhaps the seller has sent to me in error.  I have already been through some of the previous purchases in my dashboard but cant see anything there.  There is no packing notice in the parcel.  All I have is a name on front of parcel which I have tried to search.  Any ideas what to do to trace the seller.  Thanks. Are you sure this is from an eBay seller?

If you have purchased some recent items from eBay,  checkout those sellers,  they may just have posted to the wrong buyer.

Click on the seller's listings,  then down the left sidebar click on Sold.  If you find the item there, send that seller a message  that you have received their item in error,  for them to send you enough money to cover a fully tracked return postage to return the item back to them.

Do not be fobbed off with sending to the correct buyer, it goes back to the seller.

There is a scam called The Brushing Scam  you can Google this ,  but I don't think it applies it here,  as expensive items are genuinely not sent, it does seem like a genuine seller error sending an item to the wrong buyer.

Thankyou for responding back I will try that.  I had presumed they were from someone on Ebay as I dont

use any other platform.  I looked through people I have purchased with and so recognise any names.

I will try again.  I just dont want to be invoiced for something I did not purchase either.  Thanks for your help. B
