Hi, I'm so drained from hours of hassle doing everything eBay asks! In return, I'm getting tons of abusive messages like "tracking shows it hasn't left your house, eBay told me!" LOL? 😂😩 eBay Seller Stress....
Buyer > "Two weeks later, this seller finally posts it." <
Buyer > "I never got my item, and eBay says I'm lying because the tracking shows it never left your place." <
NOO you bought 2nd class standard post! THERE IS NO tracking 🤪🤪 only a confirmation... and that's only IF the postman/woman scans it on "attempt of delivery" 🤯
Sorry I needed that of my chest🤣
So, after all that, I sent proof of postage on time with the eBay tracking number, but the buyer claims they didn't get it? eBay always fully refunds the buyer. I lost the postage and the item cost... I've appealed and called eBay four times, showing my proof, but they say there's no evidence of delivery.
It's ridiculous!? Am I not getting my seller rights or some protection?
THE WORSE PART OVER 35 DAYS I HAVE DISPATCHED 40 ITEMS NOT ONE HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH DELIVERY CONFIRMED? SOO EBAY TELL ME HOW I WILL EVER GET ANY EARNINGS WITH THE NEW PROTECTION COME IN PLACE?????
Ohh alot of times royal mail collect from my home and proof of postage is emailed. ( the tracking will update to " item collected")

It is quite hard to unpick what you are asking.
However, in a nutshell:
Proof of posting shows you did send the item. However, unless you have confirmation of delivery, shown by tracking, your buyer is entitled to a full refund of everything they paid. You are responsible for this refund, even though you have proof you sent the item.
Then, you have to make a claim against the carrier.
Most of the items I send never show as delivered because I send them as Large Letters under 100g with just a stamp.
With the new buyer protection you will get paid:
2 days after tracking shows delivery
14 days after the transaction date if there is no tracking
24 hours after the buyer leaves positive feedback (for untracked items, being introduced the end of February)
Nothing to do with your question, but maybe reconsider how you package items. That is a lot of neutral feedback, all with a similar complaint.
