Post parcel at post office and paid for posting. buyer had to pay to get parcel as no postage on. Who payed for extra postage ? How do claim extra postage back

Asked to buyer to pay half each as this was not my fault or there’s fault. Looks like I will have try post office 😞. EBay are looking into case as report

Sometimes, if those stamps are not very securely stuck on , it only takes one little edge free and they can be pulled off when placed in those rough Post Office grey sacks , it happens all the time.
Buyer then receives a parcel with no stamp , and has to pay around £7 to receive their item.
It's happened to me twice. Refund the buyer make a partial refund this is the easiest way, then with your proof of posting and message from your buyer, photos of missing stamp can help too, put in a claim with Royal Mail ( I'm presuming RM was used here), I received compensation pretty promptly.
