thank you ebay for at last making my funds available it has restored my confidence in listing again , i would still like to see the buyer protection scarped in favour of seller fees

A lot of sellers would, but only business sellers don't have the buyer protection fee added to their listings.

If you upgrade to a Business account to comply with ebay policies, then you wouldn't have to bother about any BP fees as BP is already included for business sellers.

Go to Account settings in My eBay.
Select Personal information.
Select Edit next to Account type. You may be asked to sign in again.
Select Confirm to upgrade to a Business account.
Specify whether you operate your business as a legal entity or as a sole proprietor and select Continue.
On the following page, enter your business information such as name, contact information, and returns policy. Then select Save.

You can keep your existing listings as a private seller
