Payment delay. Item tracked to the UK shipping centre hub, but not marked as delivered.

The new payment system where you get paid two days after delivery is not working. I've sold a couple of items, through ebay global shipping, in the past few days. Both items tracked show that they arrived at the UK shipping hub, but 6-days later ebay have not marked it as delivered. I tried the automated help and it was useless, it didn't seem to understand the problem.

I read somewhere that after 14 days ebay will automatically release payment, is that correct? Ideally I would like it sooner.

You are not alone with this issue.

Seems it could be an issue with this new Buyers Protection Fee rules, as eBay's tracking for one,  is slow to update, and if Royal  Mail have not scanned the items correctly would delay that payout.

Now your item's payout may be subject to a 14 day hold,  unless the tracking updates, then the payout will be available 2 days after the delivery date.

You're welcome, as it seems quite a few have faced this issue and eBay's tracking is known to be slow to update,  one would think,  one would hope,  this can be looked into asap.

Asking eBay Customer Services in the past to update tracking to show a delivery has worked to release a payout sooner,  but no one has yet confirmed they have tried this,  and it's worked with the new Buyer Protection Fee policy bringing in that hold unless tracking shows delivery.

eBay Community Managers have a Chat with the Community  on this forum, every Wednesday at 2p.m. might be a good question to bring up there.....  Is it worth contacting  CS  for them to confirm tracking, and therefore a payout is released 2 days after that date?

I tried the automated assistant again. It doesn't understand me 🙁, It thinks I am requesting a return.

I can't seem to find a link to the human customer services.

It would be good to bring up the issue with the community managers. However I am not available on Wednesday. The, ebay UK shipping centre is not working in acknowledging that they have received items. I always send the same or next day seems unfair to wait for funds longer than necessary.

dave@ebay  a Community manager here,  has informed us there is a tech issue with some members finding their tracking on items is not showing delivery on eBay's system, but  item is actually delivered.

Your account will be added to the bug ticket to be ' investigated'
