I sold a clock recently. I wrapped it to within an inch of it's life including double boxing it. Item arrives, buyer is delighted with it but says that it is not keeping time now. We assumed it had been damaged in transit. I put a claim into Packlink/Ebay who cannot progress the claim for me as the the buyer has put the packaging into her recycling - I can see where PAcklink are coming from, they want proof...... however, it's not my fault that the buyer has disposed of the packaging. What do I do now?
