Order Cancellation

Hello. I made a cancellation request on the afternoon of 4th October (yesterday). Today 5th October, 25 hours later the seller rejected my cancellation request. Approximately one minute later, I got 2 notification emails stating that my order had been despatched. I feel that the seller deliberately rejected my cancellation request on purpose and I feel that's against Ebay policy to do this.

Can someone please advise? I'm now going to have to request a return which ultimately will leave me out of pocket.

Have you checked Ebay policy?

The seller can accept or decline a request to cancel.

'If you’ve changed your mind about a purchase, you can submit a request to cancel the order. The seller can either accept or decline your cancellation request.'
