I have been accused of a listing that don't follow policy.

“Offering to buy or sell outside of eBay policy”

The item has been listed on e-bay for over a year.

No one contacted me about it, and I have not sold it!!

I have been on a chat with an agent.

He gave me a link to either start an appeal, end listing or revise listing.

I have started an appeal.

All I got back is another e-mail from no.reply@ebay.com telling the same thing over.

“Your listing didn't follow our Offering to buy or sell outside of eBay policy. Offering to buy or sell outside of eBay, including sharing direct contact information prior to an eBay purchase, is not allowed”

Which item is it?  Then, we can have a quick look see if any clues are visible.

That message from ebay indicates it's something in the listing itself that's the problem, not member contact.

It only happened yesterday when I relisted it.

It was the MG parts.

You have 2 list item separately  you can't put both on same listing.

You also put content info in description, this may lead to off ebay deal.

You also had your phone number, I am surprised that was not removed, as that is contact information and not allowed.

I would  guess that the listing was reported as the bots. are not intelligent enough to pick up asking prices totalled £360, but start price only £60. Any buyer would at most only be able to pay £60.

Earlier on, when I went to the “Resolution Hub” followed by clicking “more information” then clicking on “revise listing” I had the following message pop up:

You're not allowed to revise ended listings

Now when I go to the “Resolution Hub”….

Everything is greyed out…

There is no mention about MG parts or phone numbers.

Just about selling outside of ebay.

You have to list each item on different listings.

Also as said, you can't put contact info on.

Adding phone number IS inviting buyers to buy outside of ebay.

If this is the case...

Why is the breach of contract e-mail about the phone case and not the MG parts?

I have removed the phone number. That happened by mistake, copying the add from another selling side to ebay.

Bizarre. 

Lesson to learn is do not relist case.

It looks like you are c&p the description,there may be something in the coding being picked up by the bots,try pasting it into notepad first then copying from there to your description box when relisting if eBay will allow you to relist it
