Not sure how/when I will receive my funds - advice needed!

First time seller on eBay.

I sent an item to a buyer (a watch) on Friday 3 October. eBay wanted me to use Evri but having had bad experience with Evri in the past I decided to send via Royal Mail guaranteed next day delivery and pay for it myself.

The item has been delivered and the buyer has left feedback saying so and that they are pleased with the item, nowever the payment process seems to have stalled. I have entered the Royal Mail tracking number which shows delivery has been made but it still hasn't updated as delivered on eBay.

eBay can take 24-48 hours for tracking to update sometimes

Have you added a bank account to receive payments into?

If you go to Payments

you will see details of the sale, whether the money is available to withdraw or, if it is 'pending' there should be a date when it will be available.

Beneath the blue box there will be a record of the bank account you use for payouts, or you will be able to add one.

Thank you for replying. Yes, there is a bank accout for receiving payments. My concern is that the status of the order doesn't show it as having been delivered even though buyer has confirmed delvery.

As the other poster above suggests, maybe the eBay system just hasn't updated the tracking info yet.

You may have to wait for your payment - as you are a new seller and that was a fairly expensive item, Ebay may hold your funds.
