Item received by buyer,but said they have not received it,so ebay refunding money

sold item on here, 18-10-24, buyer contacted me to say the controllers not working for the Nintendo game cube I sent, I said sorry I will refund your money, he said I need taxi fare etc,I said I will send you the postage label plus p&p, never heard no word back until 6 January,buyer never received item so eBay refunding him full money, eh help

eBay will not be refunding your buyer money as they were way out of time to claim under eBay 30 day MBG Money Back Guarantee policy .

I they were refunded,  they have gone to their payment provider and initiated a charge back.  If you did not have tracking to prove delivery this will not win you any case for item not received.

Hi thanks for responding I still have the receipt of postage, but why so
long to open a case, as I did offer to pay the money back, after they told
me the controllers were not working, but the game cube ok,then they said
they did not receive the item,so opened a case,my mind is f——-d,why ebay
refunded them,

The buyer can open a case after that length of time but they cannot escalate and Bay would not refund them,  they are way out of time to be refunded by eBay.

Are you sure eBay have refunded them have you seen this amount disappear from your avaulable funds or bank account?

If they have been refunded,  it's from  their payment provider and not from eBay.
