Item not received

I bought a tablet for my daughter.  The item delayed so I told the seller to cancel the order because I would be travelling.  The seller never responded to my messages.  I received a message that the item had been delivered while I was on holiday.  When I returned the item was not there

Was it left in an unsafe place?  It could have been stolen.

Who sent you the message that the item was delivered the seller or the courier / Royal Mail?  If RM ask your Postie where they left the item.

You can open a case for item not received, but be aware if the seller has tracking to add which shows delivery,  the case will close in their favour.
