Item from Courier "Evrie" shows item on the floor and a picture of a doorway that is not ours

And E bays response is " it says it's  delivered" and no help. The sender claims it is my problem . Also Evries response has been  "take it up with the sender."    Can you advise me as to where the buck stops please ? 

Or once again ( it's always Evrie people delivering to wrong addresses) do I have no redress other than to lose the money again . (  it was £125 I lost when they (Evrie)  missdelivered the item or lost it somewhere on route)

When I buy I try to stippulate that senders do not use Evrie but not all so-operate. 

Or is it a "new"  E bay rule I did not know about"   . Not a happy Bunny !

I'm going to be the bearer of bad news, but if the seller has tracking to show delivery or attempted delivery,  they are not responsible where the courier leaves the item,  and any claim through eBay will close in their favour,   they will not need to refund you.

 

How did you pay?  You may have more luck with your payment provider.  Paypal especially  requires more evidence of an actual delivery,  if only attempted delivery is claimed.

If you paid with a debit or credit card then go straight to a not received chargeback.
