If I accept a cancellation that didn’t go through but still ship item

Would I still get my money if the cancellation didn’t go through and I shipped it

If the buyer asked to cancel, as a private seller you are entitled to refuse but they may invent a reason for return where you have to pay the postage to send it back.   So in the long run it's usually best to agree to cancel, annoying though that is.

If you've already sent the item the money is probably on hold by ebay anyway.   If buyer does nothing it will usually be released in 30 days.

You need to explain exactly what has happened.

Only sellers can cancel, so shipping after presumably buyer asked for cancellation is asking for trouble. Buyer can invent a reason for return, you have to pay return postage and refund in full on return. Buyer can also leave negative feedback.

This can prove very expensive for you and I suggest you deal with cancellation properly.
