I would like to contact the management of Ebay

Hello there.

I would like to contact management of Ebay but of course there aren't any e-mail links to do so. Would anyone be able to point me in the right way or if staff read this, reach out to speak to me please?

The subject is fake autographs being listed. I have reported certain items as being fake and all I receive are AI responses with no action.

Best wishes.

eBay can't see the actual item being sold, which is why they state that sellers are responsible for their listings.

eBay won't act on a report unless it's from a lawyer or the person reporting is the verified rights owner of the intellectual property, else anyone could report anyone and get listings removed.

Buyers are covered by eBay's Money Back Guarantee for 30 days if they receive an autograph that isn't as described.

Rather pointless trying to speak to management, they like most members would know nothing about autographs, fake or otherwise.

That is one reason why they offer the ebay 30 day money back guarantee, as from photos it is impossible for ebay to monitor the millions of items listed. They also will rarely take any action on one report as again you could just be trying to put a competitor out of business.

What they do act on is number of cases opened, so if all buyers of fakes opened NOT AS DESCRIBED cases, that would bring attention to the seller. If buyers do not open cases it would seem they are happy, or not aware that they have bought fakes.

Thank you. The problem with Ebay distancing themselves from this is that people are being ripped-off everyday. The buyer doesn't realise it at the time, only sometime later when they show off their prized 'x' signature and are told, you've bought a fake. I have offered (and the world's leading expert on this particular subject) to give my services free to Ebay with all the listings I've reported as fake.

One such seller is blatantly selling fakes from Ukraine, one the other month from Latvia and some poor smuck's buying them. Even the FBI say most signatures on here and so-called reputable famous auction houses, are fakes.

COA's are usually not worth the paper they were printed on, so buyers are being fleeced by sellers who will make a lot of cash before someone notices. Something has to be pro-actively done about this or Ebay will lose its reputation as the safer option for buyers. It's also a known fact that many buyers after figuring out they've bought a fake, either don't bother trying to reclaim their money or are out of the 30 day window to go through Ebay's guarantee.

It's frustrating to know genuine folk are being ripped off.
