Oh dear, you must never, ever refund Before receiving back your item.
The corret process is for the buyer to open a return, you wait for the item to be returned, only then, do you fully refund and to do so through the case details.
If you wavered from the above, eBay cannot help you here, and you're relying on the buyer' honesty to send the item back to you.
Send them a polite message that you will send enough postage cost for them to send the item back as you have refunded them, but there's nothing to enforce them to do so.

If buyer opens a not as described case, you have to provide a return label, they return you refund. It does pay to read exactly what ebay tell you when a case is opened.
If you did not provide return label, but just refunded, ebay take it that you do not want item back, so nothing you can do. All returns are expensive for seller, but unless you follow the system, it is a foolish buyer who pays for return postage when they do not need to.

If you refunded them outside a case the buyer should have opene, and refunded Before the item was sent back to you, I'm afraid there's nothing eBay can do now to force the buyer to send the item back.
The rules for eBay's 30 day MBG are:
Buyer opens relevant case , if it was for item not as described the case explains you need to send a paid for postage label for the buyer to send the item back.
Once the item is back with you only Then, you fully refund and through those case details.
If you didn't follow the route above, nothing can force the buyer now to send you ,your item, you are relying on their honesty to do so.
