HOW DO I GET TO ACTUALLY TALK TO A PERSON FROM EBAY IN THE UK

Hi

I made an offer on a Gibson guitar today that after a counter offer was accepted.

I've recently changed banks, so added my new bank card onto my payment details, SIMPLE.

But after entering them 3 times was concerned I was paying for it 2 times ?

I have now been trying to sort this matter out, for nearly 2 hours now, and still unable to actually speak, to anyone.

I cannot even contact the seller, if I go to my cart, it  say's this item is now sold, yes to me.

Can anyone throw some light on this matter, or even give me a contact number for Ebay

You should be able to message the seller using the more actions dropdown menu on the right of the item on your purchases page.   Or via one of their existing listings, if they have any.

Our only way of contacting ebay direct is by using callback on here:

As it's now almost 18:00 you should be able to check online whether more than one payment was taken from your account. From your description, I very much doubt it.

If it has, the good news is that your payments are made to eBay, not direct to the seller. If you have unwittingly duplicated or triplicated the payment i have no doubt that eBay would refund any overpayment.

If any problem you may need to speak to eBay, but this has already been answered.
