But if you were correctly registered as a business seller these new fees would not be applied to your sales.

I agree with you, but when your profit is very low, not vat registered, being a business seller is also not viable due to monthly fee and sellers fees. EBAY should cater for people with low sales and low value items, it would encourage a lot more small sellers of fees were on a sliding scale.

You don't need to be VAT registered to be a business,

if you buy to sell, you a business.

registering as a business seller is the law.

Correct,as I said its not viable for a very small seller.
