So when did 2 days become 3 days.
I am not sure what Ebay is doing other than ruining their business with the recent changes and Ebay protection racket, postage issues and payment holding. On Thursday I removed all of my auctions, removed all of my watched items and made a call to them to express my views on the whole issues.
1. I am not desperate for the money, in fact I applaud them at holding the funds as I am a buyer as well as a seller.
2. I don't expect to use a website to sell without some sort of charges, but moving those charges and adding them to the listing price has ruined any potential sales. In the UK we don't advertise items as an example of £65.32 we either round up or or down. This now makes it look like the sellers are scammers and generally that is how something is listed.
3. As a buyer I already protect my purchases so why do I need to pay for a protected service on top other than shifting what they were losing on free listing and no fees to the buyer instead.
4. As a seller and most recently some items that you just couldn't buy anywhere unless you were being scalped have little to no interest because of the BPF make it look like you are a scalper.
Now I checked to see if my last item had been delivered which it was yesterday but see the funds are not available until Monday and not Sunday. All in all it is pretty pointless selling or buying on Ebay anymore especially higher priced items. You have to post tracked to get the protection as a seller from Ebay, yet most ways I post have protection built in, and if it doesn't then I post it insured and eat the cost.
From what I can see or even heard on Ebays new policies is suck it up buttercup!
22 years, I though it was slightly longer, but when you annoy (polite way of saying it) long valued buyer and sellers you end up with a place to scam over a place to be trusted.
