Funds pending awaiting collection

An item I sold today has been collected. QR code scanned and shows as 'collected' on the item however it still shows as 'funds pending - awaiting collection'

Usually it updates immediately and gives a date when funds will be available - in this case it should be May 10th.

I'm wondering if this is anything to do with going over the £1740 threshold as Ebay are now asking for my National Insurance number.

Yep,  that would be it.

If they're asking for your NI number,  everything will be on hold until you comply.
