How do we stop ebay allowing listings with wildly varying items available within one listing? They do this so that the item you searched for appears at a low price, but the item that is actually the price shown is something small and often unrelated, or a "sample" size of the the thing you actually want. It's a total waste of time and makes me want to not ever buy anything on Ebay.
Look at this listing for example (link below). I searched for a USB-C UK plug. It showed me one for £1.60. But the thing that's £1.60 is not a plug, it's a stupid tiny pin thing you use to get sim cards out of the side of your phone. The plug is actually £6.40, about 6 times the price shown next to the photo in the search results.
I feel like this is a scam. How do we stop Ebay allowing these multiple item listings?

It is a multi listing.
They can be annoying, but it is allowed.

And why should we have to put up with annoying? We're the customer! My question is how do we stop Ebay allowing these listings?

You can't stop ebay allowing this.
