Evri simple delivery

So I sold an item and it went via Simple Delivery - Evri.  Evri tracking shows they cannot deliver the item for some reason and the payment is on hold. Just contacted Ebay and as 10 days has passed they are now looking into it, they cannot tell me if the funds will be released to me! I can't even file a claim with Evri as I didn't organise the postage - ebay did. Anyone else had this? and what happens now?

It would probably be best if now past delivery date if buyer opened a not received case, then you would have refund, rather than getting bad feedback.

Then hopefully ebay will come up with an explanation.

Bad enough all the problems with Evri, but now the “simple”? postage problems as well, makes selling difficult.
