Ebay not recognising item ordered but not delivered

I ordered an item from a Chinese company, it was posted and picked up by Evr1 then tracking stopped and no item delivered. 

Trying to contact the seller was impossible. Trying to get Ebay to recognise the order also impossible. Now i am out of pocket and ebay make it impossible to communicate over it. Such a rip off.

If you bought the item on ebay within the last 30 days then you should have buyer protection if the item is eligible,see here, and open a case of not received with ebay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/get-help-item-hasnt-arr...

If the 30 days has passed,and you can't open a an ebay case then contact your payment provider for help

Why did you not just open a NOT RECEIVED CASE. There is  absolutely no reason to need to contact seller ir ebay.
