I started my ebay business after losing my job August 2024.
It was growing and growing December 245 sales then in January 340 sales.
Then 4th February everything changed. I was averaging 9 to 11 orders a day. That day I had 0 zero sales. Instead of having the money upfront now takes 2 days after delivery. Before you had the money and can see the payment straight away now you have to go back and check if you have been paid for it a week later. Then the protection fees came in force so again I had hardly any sales for the next few days. Things have picked up a little but now about 5 sales a day since if I'm lucky. I have now been told I need to upgrade to business account which I have done to find no free listings it costs 0.36 to list an item now. Also the link to the bank account doesn't work so I cant withdraw my money either.
In the last month its gone from a great business and looking forward to the future now after anxiety stress and anger im wondering if I should walk way and get a normal job. Ebay have done everything possible to put you off selling on their site. It's like they want to destroy a great selling platform.
