Hi, Doe's anybody know if eBay has a time period on people not using their eBay accounts before chucking them off,
I Am asking because what I sell I find these changes do not work for me and I would be stupid to carry on with them.
I have decided to sit and watch in case they realise (If ever} their mistake and go back to the old system which worked perfectly, and that everybody seemed to like and think prefered.
Or is there more chance me winning the lottery?

This is eBay's answer to unused dormant accounts...

Hi tressygirl,
Thanks for your prompt answer, so eBay do not close inactive accounts that easy.
Mind you the way things are going and what they are doing, probably do some of us a favour if they did!

Hi @baillin-0 ,
Thank you for your post.
Just to add to the advise already given. If an account had no activity for 2 years then it would be closed. However you would receive email notification if it was to be closed and given a timeframe to sign in to keep it active.
Thank you,
Kat

Hi Kat,
Never sure how long they gave us before they closed our accounts
The way its going maybe eBay will be history in 2 years.
And all of us saying "Do you remember those good old days" before them fools at eBay made those changes!

You can of course continue to use ebay for buying, which would keep account active, but the new buyer fees may also put you off buying.

That's true, keeps my account open, if I buy a few lots!
To be honest John I don't think I am bothered I have lost all interest with eBay.
Bit disgusted with how they have screwed us with these changes, because they want a bigger slice of the pie.
Like thousands on here I have been with them for many years and never had any complaints about anything at all when using the old system.
But not now though because of these changes that crept up on us,
Sour Grapes. I am hoping, financially it will not be as good as what they are hoping for.
What's that they say "What go's round comes round"
