Does this smell like a scam?

I ordered an item from China early this morning and it was recently marked as shipped.  The sellers page is now gone on Ebay.  To me this 99% smells kinda scammy (also why is their not an easy to find Customer Support email instead of playing 'guess the topic just to talk to a robot who will put you back to guessing a topic' again?), not because it's from China but because who sells an item and then closes their account right after.  Any thoughts/experiences with this happening but being legit?

Members can not just remove their accounts from ebay. If it has suddenly disappeared then ebay has removed them.

It  may still arrive.

To contact ebay see the link. Try first thing on a morning and you may get Dublin

www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid

Weekdays lines open between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
Weekends they open between 9 a.m. aand 6 p.m.
