I purchased a coffee grinder spare part off ebay for my specific coffee machine, on receiving the item noticed it was not the same, I contacted the seller in Germany who told me I had ordered the wrong item, strange as the description of the item was exactly the same as my machine. They told me I had to pay return postage and not to use the ebay returns but the returns procedure off their website, I returned the item, but it is stuck at customs, they refuse to collect it and state that it will be returned to me and that I should re return it. If and when I do receive it is it not better to return it through ebay, although the returns window will be closed by then.
Any advice will be welcomed

It would have been better to go through ebay in the first place.
You can't go through ebay after the 30 day window has expired.
