Ebay rejected my initial listing due to their blades policy.
I revised it and selected from the list supplied by them Royal Mail Special Delivery with Age Verification
- this listing was also rejected as a violation
Contact with Support advises to use Tracked 24 or Tracked 48 Royal Mail services.
However there are 2 problems here
- Insurance cover is only up to £150, the set is far more valuable
- Googling if Royal Mail would accept it, their website states that canteens of cutlery with knives in them cannot be posted with them
Has anyone managed to post a set with insurance, as several couriers on the Ebay List also have them as prohibited items when their websites are checked - yet there are lots of listings for them
Similarly there are thousands of listings for things like screwdrivers, scissors, needles, craft saws which are also on the "banned" lists
