Canceled order, cancellation rejected 5 days later

Hello,

I purchased 3 items 1 from 1 seller and 2 from the same seller. By complete accident i ordered all 3 forgetting the 2 from the same seller where in my basket. I thought I saved for later but I didn't.

These were purchased on the 12th of December at roughly 1800. At about 2000 I realised my mistake and canceled it. The following Monday 16rh December the seller rejected my cancellation and posted the item. And also the seller does not respond in good time.

Is this right? Can the seller do this? Surly once cancellation is requested the seller can see this clearly? 

On a second note I only recieved 1 of the 2 items from this seller 

How would I co taxt ebay as the seller doesn't respond

Well first of all open a NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE, where you are one item short.

Sellers unless a business seller are not obliged to cancel, although the sensible thing would be to do this, saves this sort of problem.

Are all 3 the same sort of thing, and how many did you really want? I am sure with a cooperative seller this could be sorted out without the seller incurring too much cost.
