I'm trying to buy an item from the US but when I hit buy it now the price goes up by £100 and over?

Buying items from outside UK means you pay 20% VAT at checkout. 

If total is over £135, you also pay import fees to carrier.

If you are buying through GSP,  these costs are paid at checkout.
