Buyer will pay to collect item I’m selling

I have had a message offering to arrange for collection of an item I am selling and buyer will pay for this..has anyone done this?

A buyer can arrange a courier but you still need the collection code before you hand over the item and the buyer loses any ebay buyer protection.

You can't do cash on collection. 

Buyer has to pay through ebay checkout, only then can you exchange contact info.
