Hi, I sold an Apple laptop. I took footage of serial number item, turned the item on and me packaging it up. The item went to the buyer who said that the laptop doesn't work and wanted a discount which I refused. They they filed a claim the laptop doesn't work. I received the laptop back this morning and not refunded as on opening I could tell straight away it was not the same laptop, plus there is a foor print on top of it and some bits of food. Checked he serial number and is completely different to the one I sent. I spoke to ebay customer services who said that there is nothing they can do. Seriously! I opened a claim but feel like ebay has no protection for this? I have a different inferior laptop plus I feel they will force the refund. Any advice?
