Buyer didn’t received the item yet

The buyer didn’t received the item that I sent, it’s already past delivery date and the tracking still shows ‘we got your item at sorting hub’ since 23rd September, it’s already been a week now with no change in status. What should I do in this case ?

Buyer didn’t received the item yet

Tell your buyer to open a case. If the item was sent by Simple Delivery ebay will take care of it and will refund your buyer with no detriment to your account.

I’m new to selling on ebay, does that mean I won’t be paying a refund to
customer and it won’t reflect a case on my account? Thank you for the
response. Appreciate it.
