I have just spent over £100 on 20 different items from the same seller. I have just paid £18.75 buyer protection fees for this privelage. If I had bought one item for £100 the buyer protection fee would have been £4.75. Why is eBay charging such a rediculous amount just because there are more items even though the price is the same, especially as the seller is the same. It should not be beyond the ability of ebay to add the buyer protection fee at the payout portal. If I used 20 different sellers I can imagine having to pay for each item as there is a risk with each item but from one seller there should be no more risk on 20 items in one package that on 1 item in a package. Lastly I sell on ebay as well but at a low price range (or at least I did), 75p +4% on an item costing £1 is disproportionately large, like 79% large. eBay, please sort this out before I leave this platform after 25 years.
