Most items I sell on eBay are put on with a starting bid of 50p - and often sell for that. This new fee will now show the starting price as £1.25 (plus 4%) - an increase of 150% which will make them unsaleable for the most part.
eBay needs to seriously reconsider this ill thought out move or it will find in February that many of its sellers have vanished - and the hit to the company's profits will be considerable.
