Might be silly but I need some advice.   I've sold an item that I had listed as collection only - specified as safe and socially distanced collection from my porch - and accepted an offer on it a few days ago. The buyer messaged me asking my address and then said they'd pay, which they did via PayPal.   Yesterday morning I messaged them my address asking when they'd like to collect and to give a rough idea of time to no reply. Sent another message later in the day, again to no reply. I messaged once more this morning just saying in case they didn't get my messages when would they like to collect and I've still not received a reply.   I'm not sure what to do now. I don't mind holding on to the item but it's the lack of communication that is weird to me.  A quick message to say they're busy and they can come next week would suffice but no reponse at all seems off.    Should I just leave it and wait for them to contact me or cancel the order and refund?     ... Bought a sit down mower in October from a seller on here ewmjc2011 with many such items still for sale. I managed one stripe of cut and smoke poured from underneath. With Covid I managed only a few weeks ago to get it collected to be looked over. The collector, fan and cutter- all the relevant parts are rotten. £500 bill. The item I received is not in good condition. The item was obviously strategically placed to enhance the photos...ie to hide staining/marks. The owner suggested I return for a refund and as soon as I said ok she started giving her opinion of me and has not processed a refund. Do I just wait for eBay to make a decision? ... View more

ups posted that the item was deliverd on the tracking page siad a name of a place and half of a postcode i went to the main hallway to see if it was there there was nothing so talked to the seller back and forth a infestagion was open and ups siad thay have lost the item ... so the seller paid a full refund ... i then went to look at the main hallway to see if i had any post and there was a large box with my name on i was lost as i was not exspeting anything like so no note no knock on the door it was just left there so im now feeling bad that i have my money and the item and was wanting to know if there is a way to give back the money that i now owe there is nothing to help me in the help area of ebay on this matter ... Just received an email, almost immediately after listing our car, that wants to buy it. It requires us to give our PayPal account and then a courier will be arrange after the money is paid in. We have had this happen twice now and it’s a scam. The end result will be that they need us to pay the courier company and they will add that cost onto the transfer. Don’t do it, it’s a scam! ...
