Issues with item not recent purchase

Bought a sit down mower in October from a seller on here ewmjc2011 with many such items still for sale. I managed one stripe of cut and smoke poured from underneath. With Covid I managed only a few weeks ago to get it collected to be looked over. The collector, fan and cutter- all the relevant parts are rotten. £500 bill. Whilst I did not expect a like new item it has proven unfit for purpose. I think some rebate is due but it impossible to contact the seller. No phone number. Any emails to them won’t send!

There is nothing you can do on ebay or paypal

Ebay and paypal money back guarantees are for items that are not as described when they arrive

and not a warranty.

Any warranty is between you and the seller.

If they are business in the UK then contact Citizens Advice for their help.

If overseas or a private seller then there is nothing you can do.

You need to go to Options in the right corner of your post then Edit and take out that members information before ebay do
