Hi, I bought a metal detector in January off a seller who described it as brand new, it was and has been fine untill yesterday when it completly packed in, it is under warranty in Germany and he will take no responsibility with arranging a replacement or dealing with the warranty in any way.   My questioin is 'is this reasonable?' I made a purchase I then received a message from eBay telling me i'd raised a case request (which I hadn't). The buyer asked me to close the case so that they could proceed with the sale, which i did. I then received another message from eBay saying they had cancelled the order and removed the seller, even though the Paypal transaction has gone through. My child accidentally bought a buy it now item on saturday evening whilst messing with my phone, I noticed and I  requested to cancel within 5 min of buying, I have not paid any money yet. 2 days later my request was denied , saying it was already posted. Hello,   the buyer has said the item I sent them is damaged. Firstly it wasn't sent damaged but unfortunately I don't have a picture of where he is stating. Secondly on the picture he is sending it looks like a completely different top. The one I sent is blue and he's sent a grey. The material looks different aswell.
