A Buyer says the CD they bought from me is faulty.  I know it isn't faulty. Suspecting I'll get zero support from eBay whilst also imagining that the Buyer is relying on me giving a discount instead of going to all the trouble of a Return, I accept the Return. eBay stings me over £3 for the P&P. Lo and behold, the Buyer doesn't return the CD. Is it possible to somehow get the aforementioned P&P refunded or am I now down over £3 through no fault of my own?   Thanks in advance for constructive replies. ... View more

Hi, i have had a buyer falsely accuse me of sending the wrong item to them and then they left negative feedback. I had asked them to send me a phot of what they received, and the image was not of any item i owned or sold. they swiftly moved on to suggeing i was calling them a liar and that they would contact ebay if i didnt sent them another item.  i told them to start a claim, but they just left negative feedback and ive not heard from them again.   I emailed ebay about this.. even telling them to read the messages... its obvious the buyer was trying to scam me, but ebay refused to take the feedback away.   Is there any way i can rectify this situation with ebay?   Thanks. ... Sent the item to Ebay Global Shipping at their usual UK address first class and signed for. It got to the US, went through customs ok and was then placed with the US delivery service. Tracking is showing it is - in transit - but it's nearly 2 months after I sold it and the buyer has asked for a refund - who pays what? - any advice - thanks   ... View more

So eBay are now taking control of payments (fine by me) they have asked me to update my details to get 80% off variable fees, however the process involves "micro deposits" which can take 3-5 days to appear.  My offer started on friday 30th and ends on the 3rd... my annoyance is this. I cannot use the deal until the micro deposits are made which will actually happen after the 80% off deal expires. I feel as though this is a ploy to update and allow them to manage payments but without ever giving me the deal... has anyone else had this happen?. It's either a mistake by eBays marketing team or a con to make people hand over money management to eBay. Either way it's not good... any thoughts? ... View more
