Sent the item to Ebay Global Shipping at their usual UK address first class and signed for. It got to the US, went through customs ok and was then placed with the US delivery service. Tracking is showing it is - in transit - but it's nearly 2 months after I sold it and the buyer has asked for a refund - who pays what? - any advice - thanks
They should open a not received dispute and make sure they put in that it was GSP
You need to make sure that ebay know it was GSP
You are not responsible for items that go missing after they arrive at the hub
SEe the link to the ebay policy on GSP

Your buyer should open an eBay item not received claim (hopefully they're not out of time to do this now), you respond to the claim stating that the item was sold via eBay's Global Shipping Programme and that tracking number XXXX shows that it was delivered to the UK shipping hub on <date>.
Your buyer should then get a refund from the GSP, not you.
