Buyer said he can't pay for item?

Hello.

I've sold an item, which was listed with ebay shipping program switched on. Buyer has sent me a message to say they can't pay because of their location. 

They're in Madrid which is on the list of countries EPS ship to.

So I'm confused as to how they can't pay? Anyone?

Is it the Watch?  They can't Pay because you only Post to the UK. They would also have to Pay Import VAT at 20%.  Do yourself a favour and Cancel  the Sale from the More Actions Drop Down Box and  "selecting "Problem with Buyers Address.". 

You could raise an Invoice and Post but you need to consider if they did open a Returns Case you would have to Refund them and Pay the Return Postage. 

When you do Sell it you need to send by Royal Mail Special delivery to be fully covered against Loss or Damage in the Transit.

OK thanks. I always have Global Shipping on and in fact just sold a camera to a buyer in Sweden the exact same way without any issues. I'm wondering if it is due to the item itself. Thank you for your message

While your listing implies  you are using the GSP, if you look at postage it says UK only. Why this is I don't know unless for some reason the Watch is not covered by Global.

As already said you are not quoting the correct postage for the UK and I hate to think what Global would charge to ship to Spain.  You should sometime check on the postage they quote as their costs are enough to put most buyers off.

Thanks. I have just used GSP to send a camera to a buyer and the listing was the same. The postage was about the same too to send the UK address. Maybe it is due to being a smart watch, who knows. Thank you for your message
