Bought a pair of second hand 'size 9' shoes that when arrived did not fit and contained a ticket saying they were size 8. Contacted seller and requested a refund. No reply to my message but return was blocked by the seller. Left negative feedback and this was taken down the same day. Have just spoken to ebay customer service who said they will do nothing to assist. Suggested I keep contacting the seller, but what is the point when they do not respond? Then suggested I list and re-sell the item myself! Also said I should try claiming through my credit card. Said they would 'look into' why my feedback had been removed but there is no way to track or appeal this process. Am very disapointed with the lack of support from ebay in making this a safe platform to buy through. Have certainly learned a lesson that there is little or no protection for buyers against unreasonable sellers. ... View more

I haven't changed any of my settings. I used to get an email to say when someone had bought an item - when they had won in an auction and when they had paid. It was all working ok back in May when I last sold some things. I've tried ebay customer services who are as much use as a wet fart in a thunderstorm. Can anyone help with this please? Hi,    Seller cannot refund me. I recently sold an Item on managed payments and £1.41 fees where deducted as usual i,e 10% +2, but then today I had the same £1.41 deducted from my payouts from ebay stating final value fees (as we know on managed payments we do not see fvf deducted again on the payout page) any ideas?  ... Hi All,   I opened my eBay account in UK many moons ago. I have now moved to Australia and changed address to the AU address, however I have just tried to sell something and it shows the price in GBP and also Royal Mail options instead of Australia Post. Has anyone else had a problem with ebay help and contact, when trying to return an item I was only given two extortionate prices for the return, both cost nealy half the price as the actual item bought.   On top of which the seller only excepts returns to a PO box,( how convenient).   I got proof of posting but seller insists still not arrived,  I'm sure we all send items to a PO box just for the hell of it. ...
