Hi I have received the above notice that appears to be genuine regarding a power transformer I bought.  I have bought several over the last few months does anyone have any more details / pictures of this item to enable me to identify the dangerous one and stop using it ?

It's unlikely that eBay would have sent you a safety alert.

I can't find any reference to this alert reference on Google. I suggest that you contact whoever sent it to you, or check on the manufacturer's web site..

You're obviously aware that it could possibly be a scam.

Hi I was sceptical about the email I received and reported it as spam. I got a reply stating that emails from eBay are also sent through my eBay account and this same warning email is on my eBay account so that’s why I think it is genuine.
