complaint about ebay

Has anyone else had a problem with ebay help and contact, when trying to return an item I was only given two extortionate prices for the return, both cost nealy half the price as the actual item bought.   On top of which the seller only excepts returns to a PO box,( how convenient).   I got proof of posting but seller insists still not arrived,  I'm sure we all send items to a PO box just for the hell of it.

Why are you returning to seller? Did you read the Money Back Guarantee FIRST?

Returns have to made in the approved manner, and you return to an address as advised by Ebay. Sending to an address provided by the seller can prove a disaster as that would not be covered by the MBG even if you could prove delivery

If you were paying the return postage yourself you did not have to use ebay

You could have chosen your own postage service as long as it went back tracked.

The tracking should say if the item was Delivered or ATtempted delivery and if it does then you win

If you just have proof of postage and no tracking then you will lose any dispute no matter where it was sent too

All disputes are automatic and done through the resolution centre at the bottom of the page.

Is that how you dealt with it.
