Help! eBay's so-called 'customer help' section has bounced me like a pinball all over the place! None of eBay's preemptied selectable categories apply to my issue!... I purchased a collectible pre-order item on 13 May '21. Earlier today I noticed in "My eBay / Orders" page that the listing had been removed by eBay. The item is marked as delivered on the "My eBay / Orders" page - but, it has not been received as the manufacturer has not released it yet! When I looked into this further, I discovered the Seller was no longer registered on eBay. I do not know where this leaves me regarding the probability of receiving this item or what I should do. I do not know if the seller is no longer registered on eBay for legitimate or nefarious reasons. I just want to speak to an eBay 'human' to get some clarification and advice on this matter, rather than all of the useless automated stuff, all of which does not apply! At one point, I thought I had finally found the correct path through all of eBay's pre-categorised sections in their 'Help' section, I then wrote out a lengthy explanation of the situation but, when I hit 'send', I got a prompt confirming that my message had been sent, not to eBay but, TO THE SELLER! (who is no longer registered on eBay!) So, another dead end / waste of my time! 😛
