Recently had an amount come out of my bank account saying from ebay but not purchased anything for that amount. My bank said contact ebay so tried to get them to phone, they repeatedly email saying tried to call but couldn't get through....my number logged in ebay is correct.  Tried to phone them.....all you get is automated messages ....I'm solo frustrated .......any one had those before ?  ... Hi, I bought an item a couple of hours ago. I paid with Paypal. The seller did not receive payment and requested the transaction ID. I provided this and the seller said that the transaction wasn't addressed to their account and they can't proceed. So I don't know where my money has gone. Anyone else get the 'you have a free gift' notification which led to a short survey, then picking a pressie icon to be told you have got the iPhone and just need to pay £1? It's a complete scam. Tried several times to pay the £1 even got as far as authorising it on my banking app. Every time got a 'we cannot complete the purchase at this time' notification. Suggest eBay are more careful about what they allow on their pages. If I find that any unathorised payment has been taken or that my details have been used in any illegal way I will be making a more formal complaint! ... View more
