I bought a mattress that was listed as ex shop display , bargain price, so asked for the buy it now price & bought it. Had to wait 4 wks for a courier coming this way but it arrived . ohh dear first night was awful ! Spent all night rolling into the middle & bashing my hubby to move over, the springs have gone. Contacted the seller & was told it was one that slipped through the net.
OK that's no problem, so I waited for a replacement, 2 wks went by & no contacted so emailed to check if I had given him my details & find out what's happening, had a short sharp response that said it will be discussed & get back to me.
No contact again, so time was getting on , I filled in a dispute form with papal as if I left it any longer I might no be able to do anything. I received a refund the following day with a note attached saying a courier will collect the mattress when He's in my area.
Its been 2 was & no collection & no dates for pick up. I'm worried I'm going to get stuck with this mattress , how long should I wait before I dispose of it ?. Also what should I do if it costs me to get it taken away ?, can I ask the seller to cover the costs .
its in my way & takes up a awful lot of room for it to be left for months. Any advice would be appreciated .

I think that really you should have asked this question on the buyer central board as people that could help would see your query on there rather than here.

Phone your local trading standards and ask?. Under DSR you have a duty of care but for how long i have no idea.
