THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Evening

First chance I've had to check in and see what you are all up to.

Have had a nightmare week. Worked 8am - 8.30pm Monday and Tuesday, Then spent 7 hours cleaning FILs house on Wednesday, followed by visiting him in hospital, followed by shopping. Yesterday was another 7 hours cleaning followed by hospital, followed by a visit to my Mother.,

Today I had to go to the hospital to speak to the Doctors, then over to FILs for another 4 hours cleaning, followed by a trip to the tip then home for a very long hot shower. Promptly fell asleep on the recliner.

I have cleaned a 3 bedroom large semi from top to bottom, including 12 loads of washing and I am soooo tired that I will be happy to go to work for a rest tomorrow!

You're certainly having a hard time of it lately Leaning.  Sending you loads of cyber hugs.

We had a short sharp shower about half an hour ago and it still hasn't cleared the air.

The telly's rubbish tonight.  At least Gardener's World starts soon.  That is one of my favourite programmes.

Hi CB.  In the magazine that came with last Saturday's Daily Mail, there was an article about Monty's dog, Nigel.  Apparently, a while back, Nigel jumped up and twisted awkwardly and was paralysed for a spell.  The vet referred Nigel to another vet who managed to help.  Looking at Nigel now, you wouldn't think that there was anything.  Apparently, one the discs in Nigel's back exploded.  The poor dog must have been in agony.

As soon as Monty asked him did he want a pea, he came running up and, as you rightly say CB, he ate the lot.  Bless him.

I think you might be right there CB.  Monty does a column in the Daily Mail magazine every week but this was separate article about Nigel.

Morning all.  Can't stop long 'cos I want to have my swim before the little darlings have their swimming lessons.  Mind you, it's not so much the little darlings as some of the parents they take with them especially on a Saturday morning.  Common sense goes out the window with them.  Like one lady a few weeks ago who took her 12 year old SON into the LADIES locker room!!!??!!

Must go now but I'll be back later.  Hugs to all that need them.

Morning all again.

Hope that you enjoy your day fishing.  Sounds like fun.

Not been for a swim this morning.  Instead, I ended up at the walk-in centre with a broken toe.  I've started another thread and I've put on that exactly what happened.

My Godson was rushed into hospital last Tuesday with what everyone thought was appendicitis , he had  the op & now they say it was food poisoning :smileysurprised

Aparently they do the the op as the test results can take 3hrs & if its apendix it could rupture by then ...oh well its something he wont ever get now  then Smiley Indifferent

No towery, if he only had indigestion a couple of spoons of gaviscon would have fixed it, but if they thought he'd had a heart attack they'd be operating on his heart, 'just in case'!! LOL

but the treatment for indigestion isnt going to save you if it is a heart attack,

the treatment for a heart attack (they wont operate til they are sure they need to)  the drugs they give are more likely to save you than kill you quicker

I was just joking towery.  If they took his appendix out when it was food poisoning, they might have done open heart surgery for indigestion!!

Never mind, it's just my sense of humour!Woman LOL
