Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Looks like another scorcher here. So glad that summer is back but I don't think it's planning to stay long. Off out for coffee with a friend at ten & a mooch around the garden centre. vil-fleurs4.gif

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

We're down for 32 degrees today and by the look of it, it won't be far off.   That's ok, I'll be indoors lol.   We've got a couple of grandchildren coming  from  10am 'till  about  2pm but I don't suppose I'll see much of them, they'll be out with granddad and the chickens.  Have a nice day.Woman Happy

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Afternoon all.

Love the sayings Merc.  I bet your son is noticing a big difference in the temperature.

It's bright sunshine here at the moment but we do have a breeze.  My dad got back from Malta about a week since and the weather here was warmer than it was in Malta.  I've not looked at a weather forecast lately so I don't know what weather we are going to get over the next few days.

Hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Sorry to hear that you're not well CB.  Hope that you soon feel better.  heart

Sometimes, we have a breeze here (which is lovely) and other times we don't which is not so lovely as it is too hot.  I've still not looked at a weather forescast to see what's in store for us here for the next few days.  I think that I'll do that now.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Just been off to check a weather forecast or two.  Where I live, they've forecast some rain for us and lower temperatures thankfully.  I just wish that it would cool down overnight so that we could all sleep better.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Think we're forecast a couple of heavy downpours over the next couple of days but am sure that I can pop in and out of the garden in between over the weekend.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I think that I may have to water the tomatoes, courgettes and cucumbers in the morning as they are getting rather dry as we've not had any rain over the last few days.  We may get rain tomorrow but it will be much later on in the day.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning.  I don't think that the weather knows what to do with itself at the moment.  It was cloudy when I got up at 7 and the sun now can't make its mind up whether or not to stay out.

Hope that everyone is as well as can be expected and hugs to all that need them.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Bright and sunny here, but with a stiffish breeze. We had heavy rain all day yesterday, and heavy showers on Wednesday.

The grass will have to be cut soon, and the rose bush wants dead-heading, so "himself" is going to be grumpy.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Afternoon all.

It's very muggy here even with a bit of a breeze.  Had to go to the doctor's earlier to pick up some prescriptions and the car was telling me that it was 29 degrees.  We did have some rain this morning at around 8am but that didn't last for long.  At 7.45am, it was 23 in greenhouse then.  My left knee is aching like mad which is normally a sign of rain.  It's cloudy enough to put some rain down.  I just wish the air would clear as it's too humid and muggy at the moment.

Hugs to all that need them.
