You ought to pop round gems, we have about five enormous chestnut trees in the garden and the nuts are all over the ground.:-D
Don't bother bringing the walking stick gems, we've got a special pole with a hook on the end. It's similar to the one we use for the fig tree. Grandson (he's 😎 comes and picks the figs in the summer, I save him plastic punnets and he puts 6 in each and sells them on a stall at the gate for £1 a punnet. He picks the chestnuts and weighs them out in half pound bags for 50p. He's a right little entrepreneur! :^O

I am with cats 🙂 The nasty boys are staying with us until Monday.
Ginger one is a beggar as he always wants to be stroked so as you go up the stairs he runs up and quickly lies down in front of your feet on a step.
