Merc.. if it would help you to tell your story I for one would have no objection.  Maybe on a fresh topic so that those who feel they would be too upset to read it then have the option not to.  Whatever would help you would be ok with me.  You can always email me for a chat, I'm quite a good listener.  Doing the job I do I've seen and heard some upsetting things.  Whatever you feel comfortable with but see what others think :-x

Merc, if its not to personal for you, I don't mind you sharing .......  my MILs lived around that area most of her life & he could so easily have been her doc too.

I'm sure there will be loads that was never revealed in the news, as a Mum of a suicide victim I never thought I would be glad to hear someone had taken their life but I think a lot of people must have cheered when he did.

Well, spent all morning at the hospital. Very nice Doctor who asked loads of questions. He thinks it isn't connected to the thyroid cancer, but spoke to the Doctor at the other hospital and has arranged for me to take Mum back tomorrow. He agrees that she needs a scan, even if it's just to rule out a few things.
They have taken bloods and will check all sorts of levels.

Was a real rigmarole at the hospital as no parking near and Mum can't walk far after the fall. Had to go in and find a wheelchair, then go back to the car for her, then the reverse after we were finished.
Got her home, with great pain getting out of the car, and got her into the chair with a heat pad behind her. Gave her painkillers and encouraged her to eat, then left her with TV remote and phone.
Was 2.30pm when I got home to grab a few hours with OH before he dashes off again.

Will see what tomorrow brings.

I hope the scans are a help Mags. I went through similar with my mum. Sending hugs to you both.

evening everyone, I'm late today as I've been out this morning, and then I wrote out all my christmas cards:-D gawd, it takes ages doesn't it?

there, done now so not having to worry about forgetting them.

next I'm wrapping up my gifts to post. I hate not being organised. Then if I forget anyone I've got plenty of time to catch up;-)

I'm taking bets on Maggie coming back with some fabric, even if it's only a weeny bit.

PCC...wow! that quilt is divine!!!!! what will you do with it now, have you made it for someone? it's gorjus

Hope the tests come up with an answer to your mums illness Mags ,  couldnt you park nearer in a disabled bay or maybe its always full like at our hospital .

Thank you for your lovely comments on my bees quilt ,  sorry huggles  its destined to join all my others 😄  I dont mdcc anything any more as i didnt get any bids at all last time ,  but i do have a few bids ]:)
